If you’re unable to get to us unaided, we’ll bring your eye examination to you
As you age it becomes more and more important that you’re having your eyes tested regularly. There are lots of conditions commonly associated with growing older such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. It has also been proven that the right corrective eyewear can reduce the risk of falls amongst the elderly.
At our practice we offer a domiciliary service for all individuals who are unable to make their way to an optician unaided. It doesn’t matter what your age or your reason, if you cannot come to see us without relying on someone to get you here, we will bring your eye examination to you.
If you choose to use our domiciliary testing service, one of our fully qualified opticians will come to visit you in the comfort of your own home. We will use specialist equipment which enables us to thoroughly examine your vision, and then show you a great selection of eyewear should you need it.
The majority of eye conditions don’t have any symptoms, so don’t let your age, disability or learning difficulty prevent you from receiving the care you deserve. You’re also entitled to a free eye examination courtesy of the NHS, so cost need not be a concern either.
